# Multi-Workspace Architecture (Non-Custodial Model)

## Overview

In this configuration, each of your customers operates their own independent PrimeVault workspace, but with your branding applied. Your customers\*\*—not you—\*\*are the legal owners and administrators of their respective workspaces.

## Operational Structure

* **Workspace Ownership**: Each end-customer owns their individual workspace
* **Governance Structure**: A majority of workspace owners and administrators must be legal representatives of your customer, such as:
  * Employees
  * Partners
  * Shareholders or board members
* **Your Role**: You facilitate onboarding and setup under your brand
* **Temporary Admin Access**: You can be added as a limited-time "implementation administrator" to:
  * Configure the workspace correctly
  * Set up initial policies and integrations
  * Provide technical guidance during onboarding
  * Train customer administrators
* **Control Handoff**: Once setup is complete, you relinquish administrative control to the customer

## Implications

Under this architecture, funds remain **expressly in your customers' own custody**:

1. **Customer Control**: Your customers maintain full administrative control over their workspaces and vaults
2. **Self-Custody**: Customers manage their own private keys and backup processes (with support from PrimeVault's infrastructure)
3. **Limited Access**: Your implementation admin role is temporary and restricted in scope
4. **Clear Ownership**: Legal title and control of funds remain with your customers at all times

Because funds remain in customer self-custody, you typically **do not require** custody, money transmitter, or EMI licenses for this deployment model.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This model is functionally similar to PrimeVault's Reseller Program, with the key difference that your customers' workspaces are created under **your brand** rather than PrimeVault's brand.
