# Setting up your account

> Complete the onboarding questionnaire, sign up for the desktop app, and reset your password if needed.

## Fill up the onboarding questionnaire

You will receive an onboarding email from us once your team has filled in the onboarding questionnaire (sent by our team). The form would take less than 5 minutes to complete and will help us understand the role each stakeholder will play in the platform, so we can ensure everyone is set up correctly and you get the most value from the product.

## Set up the Desktop app

**1. Open the sign-up email**

You will receive an email from PrimeVault. Click on 'Sign Up for Primevault' (Check spam in case you are not able to find the email)

**2. Create your password**

Sign up with your company email and set up a strong password

**3. Set up 2FA**

Scan the QR code using your authenticator app to setup your 2FA

**4. Download the mobile app**

Scan code or search for PrimeVault on the App Store to download the PrimeVault mobile app

**5. Verify your email**

Please verify your email once you log in to have continued access to your account

## Forgot Password?

In case you forget your password, please click on 'Forgot Password?' You will receive an email to reset your new password

Follow the link from the email received and submit a new password
